Stacey Johnson, Parenting ProGRESS director

Stacey JohnsonStacey grew up in a small town in Central New York and moved to Chicago in 2004 to attend North Park University. She graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Scandinavian Studies. During her time at North Park, Stacey had the opportunity to study abroad in Sweden and explore much of Europe. In 2013, Stacey graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a master’s degree in counseling with an endorsement in school counseling.

Stacey has worked at Swedish Covenant Hospital’s Montessori Child Care Center since 2005 in a variety of roles including teacher’s assistant, teacher, and interim assistant director. While obtaining her master’s degree, Stacey was the counseling intern at Fenton High School in Bensenville, IL for the 2012-2013 school year. During this time, she was able to work closely with high school students and realized her passion for hanging out with and helping high school students make positive decisions and achieve goals. Stacey is so excited to join Ravenswood Covenant’s staff as the Parenting ProGRESS Director and get the chance to work closely with teenagers again.

In her free time, Stacey enjoys going on scooter rides with her husband Bryan, visiting family in New York, trying out new recipes, and spending time with friends.
