General Ministries

We have many ministries that serve our congregation, our community, and the world through sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We gather each week on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings for regular ministry programming. We also have various opportunities during the week  for people of all ages and life stages to connect with others and serve.

Worship Team: We have a variety of gifted musicians who lead us in worship each Sunday and we are always looking for people willing to play an instrument, sing, or help with set up and sound tech. We also host a seasonal choir open to all who want to participate, and enjoy having special music in the service as well. Contact Dana Jackson, Praise Band Coordinator (dana (at) ravenscov.org)

"With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable will we use for it? It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth; yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes the greatest of all shrubs, and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade." (Mark 4:30-32 NRS)
